Jewess Jeans to Jewcy JAPS

A fascinating exploration of women’s clothing and its relationship to religion and culture. A renowned expert on American Jewish life, the Jewish family and Jewish women’s studies, Dr. Shuly Rubin Schwartz is a third generation graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she is the Irving Lehrman Research Associate Professor of American Jewish History and Dean of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies.
